    Description

    WWII USMC Tunic
    3rd Amphibious Corps
    CPL Chevrons
    Identified with Name
1927 pattern USMC forest green tunic. 1943 dated in sleeve opening, also has Marine's name. Attractive shoulder sleeve insignia of 3rd Amphibious Corps. Insignia is overseas type, Australian made, wool felt on mesh backing. Tunic is in very good condition and free of any moth bites, stains or damage of any kind. Retains it's nice forest green color with good lining and all buttons present. Corporal rank chevrons on both sleeves. EGA devices on lapels look very similar but are not an exact match. One may be a replacement by previous collector. Tunic will display nicely.
With Marine's name in coat it should make for a good research project.
