    Description

    From an estate, here is a pair of WWII Navy Wool Bell Bottom Pants with the 13 visible buttons flap front.  The Lace up back has been sewn closed. Worn by VanZanten, his name is stenciled in white on the inside of the waist.  It is also faintly inked on the cloth label on the underside of the inside pocket.  (I placed a C sticker so I could keep the three pairs of pants identified.)  There are two front pockets at the waistband and one back pocket at the waistband.  These Pants are in pretty darn good shape, although I have done a little mending at the back rump seam and I did reinforce a back pocket at the corner.  This item was gently tumbled with a Dryel dry cleaning sheet in my dryer but I have not washed it or had it professionally dry cleaned.  Please see all photos....this is a consistently dark navy garment; I took some of the photos lighter on purpose so the details could be seen better.  Dimensions of the pants are:
    Inseam - 31.5" (stated as 32L on the label)
    Waist - 34"
    Hips - 42"
