Signed Limited Edition Mats Jonasson Wolf In Snow with Tree from 1981, 4th in a series of limited editions "Nordic Beasts of Prey", #912 of 975. This item includes the original booklet describing the piece, and the original certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and the studio manager, certifying this piece is part of a limited set.
Perfect condition with label. 17cm by 24cm, item weight appx 1kg
Includes original box free if desired. Additional shipping charges will apply if you like the box. Box is appx. 12" x 8" x 6" black hinged. (box condition is fair, no internal lining, external label shows age signs, box clasps are in good condition and box opens without problem). Box was found after pictures were taken, will add box pictures to listing shortly. We're not charging for the box, as it's condition does not match the sculpture condition (which is 'like new'), but it makes this item even more unique.
Mats Jonasson started sculpting in 1959 as an apprentice. In 1981 (the year this wolf was created) he opened his own company in Maleras, Sweden.
