Welcome to my store - stuffbydavid  :o)
    COTTON  CANDY
Though I tried my best, Fantasy/Angelina film is extremely hard to photograph. It changes color in different lighting and it changes color when you fuse it!

    BONDING AND MANIPULATION TECHNIQUES
Create luminous effects that will enhance all your fins or wings for OOAK dolls, bears, dragons, paper and fabric projects by making your own sheets of dazzling Fantasy/Angelina Film! Stamp it, heat it, cut it, sew it, or wash it!
To get started experiment a little with these techniques...
    WINGS
: Form your wings with a small gage wire. Then make sure it is flat. Add glue,to one side of the wire (not to much. Sometimes using a brush or your finger is the the best) a good tacky glue will work. Let it set for a few minutes. Then place a sheet of film on the wire. Press down a little to make sure all the film is glued. Let dry. Then trim off the excess film to about 1/16 from wire. The next step is to use a candle or heat gun to shrink it to the wire. SLOWLY wave your wings over the candle until you see it tighten and change color. Leave it too long in one spot and it will make a hole. Same with the heat gun, do it slowly. Then it's time to embellish them. By using a clear glue you can add glitter, beads, rhinestones, feathers, etc. But add your feathers last, other wise they will stick where you don't want them to. If you want to make the wings stronger, coat them with a clear lacquer. You can coat the glitter, but not the beads or rhinestones. They loose their shine and sparkle.
    INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING FLAT SHEETS
: Set Teflon coated iron to medium or polyester setting. Place three to four layers of film or a small amount of fibers on parchment paper. Lay another piece of parchment or non-stick pressing cloth on top. Press with iron firmly for 3-10 seconds. Lift parchment to reveal a totally unique sheet of fabric! The more layers /fibers you melt together, the stronger the fabric sheet. You can die cut it, use a hand punch or scissors. Soon you will be able to predict the outcome of the bonding procedure, allowing you to create colors and textures you never dreamed of before.
    3-DIMENSIONAL BONDING
: Try using a heat tool or a candle flame. Crunch film into a shape, like a heart, or make a fiber sheet as above, hold with tweezers and bring sheet close to heat source until it has melted into the desired shape! Be careful not to over heat.
    CREATE TEXTURE
: Create interesting patterns by firmly heat pressing three film layers or a small amount of fibers onto an un-inked art rubberstamp or another textured surface such as lace with parchment paper between film and iron.
    IMPORTANT INFORMATION
: Too much heat/dwell time/pressure will cause film/fiber to become more coppery, or a loss of color may occur and film may bubble or melt away. Colors change with heat. Fantasy Film and Fiber fuses to itself and to each other only. Use with Glitter, beads, rhinestones, nailheads, and then add a Clear Adhesive for endless possibilities!
